How Our Network Works
Request an estimate from a provider
Who you talk to
Myth: you will be handed to a big company with a script. Reality: you talk to an independent local tree provider. Each one runs their own business, sets their own schedule, and writes their own quote.
Comfywearing Tree Service does not send staff to your home. We make the introduction, and the provider takes it from there.
What happens on the first call
Expect a few plain questions. The provider wants to picture the job before they say anything about price or timing.
- Where is the tree, and how tall is it?
- Is it standing, leaning, or already down?
- What is near it: a house, a fence, a car, power lines?
- Is anyone at risk right now?
Have photos ready if you can take them safely from a distance. Never stand under a damaged tree to get a better shot.
What to ask a provider
First-timers often feel they should not ask too much. You should. Good providers expect questions.
- Is the quote in writing, and what does it include?
- Is cleanup and hauling part of the price, or extra?
- Does the job include stump grinding, or is that separate?
- Can you show proof of insurance?
- How soon can you realistically get here?
- What happens if the weather delays the work?
What about storm damage?
For storm tree clearance, ask the provider to note the damage with photos. Providers can often help document damage for a claim. Some policies may cover sudden damage, but check your policy and your insurer for the details.
You are in control
Talking to a provider does not lock you in. You can compare quotes, ask for time, or say no. Ask before you agree to anything, and do not sign until the scope and price are written down.
If a tree is touching a power line, keep your distance and contact the utility first.
